I strongly agree with you, Rob, with one slight amendment.  I think that
cohousing and community are created to enhance not only relationships (1:1),
but also a network of relationships and community itself (which is like
family, as I think of it, and is something greater than relationships; for
example, I have a relationship with my sister, but her being part of my
family is something more than that).
