Have cohousing folks (across the country / at a national conference...) ever done a memorial service for Mike Mariner. I did not make it to the East Coast Conference held shortly after his death which was mentioned in Ann's message at link below. I believe that people live on after death in what people remember about them, in what people remember (and books and the internet etc record) about what they did when they were alive. In the tradition of Joe Hill, Mike is alive. Anyone ever think of starting a quilt in the tradition of the AIDS quilt for cohousing folks who have passed?
