Hi all -

I can't believe I'm chiming in on this question, but my brother-in-law,
who runs the computer systems for a community college in NC doesn't
believe in running twine or anything else in the conduit the cc has put
everywhere to allow for future expansion. When he's ready to use a piece
of pipe, he just uses an ice pick to thread a piece of button- or nylon
thread through a ping-pong ball, sets the ball just inside the pipe at one
end, then goes around to the other end and sets a vaccuum cleaner
(actually a shop-vac) against it. He claims it always works.
