I don't think that anyone has said anything yet about how
important it is how we conceptualize and therefore word our
proposals and questions in order for consensus to work
effectively.

The above question lends itself well to a vote.  Yes and no
are the only answers implied by the question.  In order to
decide either yes or no, a lot of limitations on options need
to be made (and are often made without acknowledging them).
It isn't an appropriate question for a consensus process.
Reframing, a consensus-friendly question would be, "What shall
we do about having a swimming pool?"  With that question,
there are hundreds of different answers and thus many options
for a solution that will work for everyone.
