STRONGLY recommend against it! What if the internal developer turns out
to be unreliable? What if the developer decides his or her own interests
are more important to the project. It's happened several of times before.
If they are part of the community it makes it much more difficult to fire
or sue your developer. Hopefully it won't be necessary, but trust me, you
don't want to risk it.

      What we intend to do is this:  If we attract people with
      developer skills we
      will do ourselves which means about 15% cheaper.

      If we dont get people with these skills we plan on using a
      developer so we can
      move in before we need to change it into a retirement home.
