You know, "discrimination" used to be a GOOD word, as in the phrase, "a man
of discriminating tastes". It implied being able to make meaningful
distinctions where less-astute people could not.

I'm not sure I would want to go as far as Cheryl, when she implies that
declining to allow any group whatsoever to use the common house is
discrimination (in the bad, 1960's sense). If the CH is "our" home,
then "we" should be able to choose who can and who can't be in it.
I feel no obligation whatsoever to allow groups I consider harmful (e.g.
the American Nazi Party or Aryan Brotherhood, anti-abortion activists,
creationists, or the proselytizers of certain religions I consider to be
bogus) to use my home to further their cause. This is in NO way the same
as refusing to have any dialogue with such people. I may gladly spend 15
minutes talking to missionaries on my doorstep, if I have the time to spare.
I will not gladly give my living room for them to hold a meeting. "Engaging
in meaningful dialogue" and letting someone use the CH are not the same
thing and I think it's muddle-headed to imply they are.
