In the province of Alberta in Canada there is a foundation that makes grants
from the interest earned on deposits held while real estate deals are in the
making.  It is called the Alberta Real Estate Foundation.  They have over
$600,000. to distribute to projects that might benefit the real estate
industry.  What happens to the interest earned on money in escrow in the US?
