This email is in response to your question on the Co- Housing list about
communities in and around Bloomington Indiana.

I am posting this to the Co-Housing Group in the event there are others with
an interest in Intentional Community / Co Housing in Central Indiana.

I have been involved in developing intentional community for many years. My
background is in architectural design and residential construction with a
focus on energy efficiency and Sustainable Community Development. Currently
I practice Group Process facilitation, communications training and
mediation.   I facilitate groups in Open Space Technology which is excellent
for design charrettes, Community Building Process - to understand the
process/ emotional / spiritual aspects of community, dialogue process and
Non Violent communication.

I live in Indianapolis and I have made an effort in the past to participate
in a group together that had interest in intentional community under the
banner of  Eco Village . There was not sufficient momentum to realize
tangible goals at that time. In Bloomington, IN , Marion Sinclair has been
working to develop a co-housing group for several years. I believe Marion
would enjoy speaking with you. perhaps we can all get together to talk.  I
will copy Marion with this email.

There is also a group called "The center For Sustainable Living" in
Bloomington that has  "The Simply Living Fair" scheduled September
13th -15th in Bloomington. For more information the contact listed in their
brochure is tkinney [at] bloomington.in.us  There will be a workshop on Co-op
housing during the fair on Saturday morning.
