Stories from your Community

I am working on an article for the Cohousing Journal, on ecological sustainability. (You may have seen Part I in the most recent journal.)

Part II is on living ecologically in cohousing once we move in.

I could use some more vignettes, "coho moments", and examples from a wider range of communities. Does your community present any examples of the following:

1. A clothing exchange area (an area to leave clothes or other items you don't want, and to pick up same). 2. Any interesting sharing of items, such as several households buying a camper or boat together.
3. Special bulk buying arrangements.
4. Interesting car pooling arrangements or stories.
5. Community supported agriculture (either rural, or pick-up arrangements in an urban community).

Also looking for photos of any of the above and/or the following:

Baking bread or canning in common house kitchen (individuals using CH as extension of home kitchen).
Movie night at the common house.
Bike parking facilities.
Centralized recycling facilities.
Borrowing an egg or a cup of flour.

Thanks for any help!
