re Mary Kraus's query: We (Monterey Cohousing, Minneapolis, MN) do similar things. 1. A clothing exchange area (an area to leave clothes or other items you don't want, and to pick up same). This has evolved, a desk in the all, clothes, books, various items appear here. Several of us know that if a particular woman puts out clothes, we want to check them. I get a kick out of seeing clothes once mine, on others. 3. Special bulk buying arrangements. Mostly for common meals. 4. Interesting car pooling arrangements or stories. Three of us are international folk dancers, with different schedules. Two go early, one leaves early, one goes later, and takes the other early bird home. 5. Community supported agriculture (either rural, or pick-up arrangements in an urban community). Several household share a 'share' in a CSA, this applies to several different CSA's. we have been a drop-off point for one CSA. _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.communityforum.net/mailman/listinfo/cohousing-l
