Hi all! I posted this to some communities, and only today joined the

House for sublet in California cohousing community

Hello! I am an English professor going on sabbatical, and I'm interested in
subletting my house from January through July 2003. This would be a great
chance for someone to check out living in a cohousing community, and/or to
live in a great California beachtown for half a year!

The house is $2200 per month; it is furnished, in great location near the
University, the beach, and hiking/biking trails. It is a pretty, sunny new
house (built 1998) with lots of windows, three bedrooms, office space, three
baths, two decks, a nice kitchen with a cooking island, washer/dryer on the
premises.

The cohousing community is called Coyote Cohousing, and is in Santa Cruz;
the parking is all peripheral, and we have a central green. There are 16
units, some duplexes and most houses, with 20 plus kids and 30 plus adults.
We have a beautiful common house where we eat 3 times a week, an arroyo on
one side of the property, and miles of open space land on the other!
