Hello, everyone... I'm seeking some input on whether for-sale-by-owner or a realtor has been found to be more effective for selling a home in a co-housing community. We have a home in Solterra that will soon go on the market, and the owners are trying to decide which would be better in terms of maximizing the return on the serious investment they've made in their architect-designed custom-detail-laden passive-and-active-solar home. There have been realtors out at Solterra before, but none that have really seemed to "get" co-housing (or even solar); certainly none that have understood the community well enough to present it as the asset and value-enhancer that it is. On the other hand, realtors have resources that individuals sometimes do not. On the other other hand, co-housing folks have each *other* for resources. And around and around it goes. Any advice, anecdotes, personal experiences, or mere theorizing would be much appreciated... many thanks...
