What a treat to have a day off work to take time to give thanks for all 
we have and the earth that has given it to us.   Have a joyous and 
relaxing Thanksgiving Day.

Friday, November 29th is either the biggest shopping day of the year or
"Buy Nothing Day," depending on your point of view. Our Cincinnati
Ecovillage vision statement commits us to three values: cooperation,
simplicity and sustainability.   These values encourage buying less all
year long but these alternative holidays such as "Buy Nothing Day"are good
conversation starters with fmaily and friends.

The average American consumes 10 times more thatn the ave. Mexican, 50 
times more than the ave. chinese and 100 time more than the ave. Indian.

If you have Friday off of work, take a hike, read a book, visit friends, 
or stay home and
cook something yummie.  We're having a pot luck.  If you are in Southern
