Thought you might like to see the email I sent to my personal emailing list about the upcoming cohousing conference. I wish I had remembered to ask recipients to send a similar message to possibly interested friends and family, but I neglected to do so. Perhaps this will inspire you to send out a similar message to your own friends and family lists.

I've lived in one cohousing community for eight years, another for more than 3 years; I am on the Board of the (newly named) Cohousing Association of the United States; and I have visited (at least set foot in) over 40 North American communities.Today, rather than sending on the latest about the ruthless drive of our nation toward world domination, or a call for action to stand up for peace, I'm hoping to entice at least a few of you to attend the fabulous National Cohousing Conference in Boulder, Colorado, June 19-22. Paul Ray, author of The Cultural Creatives will be the keynote speaker, and there are a lot of fabulous workshops throughout the weekend.IMHO, there's no better medicine for our collective angst than that tapestry of little and large acts of connection that we call community. We cohousers know this, and would love to share our commitment to community-building with you at the conference. For more info and to register should you be so inclined, willing and able, hop on over to www.cohousing.org and follow the trail to the conference pages.Joani
