The conference was fabulous! More than 200 people attended -- a lot of
positive energy. The weather was beautiful and I thought the campus of the
University of Colorado was a great place to hold it.

Highlights for me included spending a whole day with two cohousing pioneers,
Chuck Durrett and Jim Leach, talking about and then viewing some world-class
design.

Author Paul Ray who served as keynote speaker is a visionary who predicts
great things for the cohousing movement. He hung around the entire
conference, and held impromptu Q & A sessions outside on the lawn. He seems
very interested in seeing cohousing grow.

All the workshops I attended were good. Nice variety of topics. Good to see
many new faces -- both wannabe cohousers and professionals.

Only problem I see with this conference is that the next one is not
scheduled until 2005. Should be every year.
