I would really appreciate responses to this impromptu survey.  If you
only want to respond to part of it, that's fine.


Vision:
Does your community have a vision statement?  If so, how useful is it? 
If not, why not?

Hiring community members:
Does your community ever pay community members for work?  How has this
worked out?  
Does your community have a policy on this?  If so, please send it.

Hiring non-members:  
Does your community ever hire non-members for maintenance, repair,
process, fiscal, or any other kind of work?  Does your community have a
policy on this?  If so, please send it.

Work satisfaction:  
How satisfied are community members with the amount of community work
required?  How satisfied are community members with the balance between
work, process, and fun?  Obviously, these are highly subjective
questions.  What does your community do, if anything, to ascertain member
satisfaction?

Please identify what community you're from when you respond.  If folks
are interested, I'd be glad to post a summary of the responses.
