I know that there was an interest among some folks in using bamboo 
flooring as being more sustainable that wood....and beautiful to boot.  
There was concern about the cost.  I found various places on line to get 
it at a good price.  I went with Lumberliquidators because I did not 
have to deal with a minimum amount as we were just putting it in a loft 
addition.  I got it for $2.95/ sq foot.  Of course, they also had a 
warehouse in the bay area that I could pick it up from so did not have 
to be concerned about shipping costs at all.  If you have any questions,
