I'm a teacher, artist, community organizer, doula-in-training and mother of a beautiful and spirited two-year-old named Tivo. I am searching for other progressive, community oriented, nature loving, spiritually grounded parents interested in getting a big house and raising our kids up collectively. Forming a land trust and helping build our individual spaces is also an option, and an affordable one with hybrid adobe. About a dozen families responded to a post I sent out on Craig's List last week. We've gathered once already and a core gorup is beginning to form itself. We are scheduled to meet again this Thursday and are currently exploring options both urban (East and North Bay) and rural (within a three hour drive of SF). It is very likely that two, or possibly even three, groups will break off from this larger one. Most of us are healers, interested in birthing a Healing Arts Center together. We hope to be a diverse community, and are open to others who are single, retired, partnered without children of their own - as long as they see children in their lives as a blessing. If this is a dream you share, feel free to contact me, so that we can dream it forward together. Those of you who represent play groups, co-housing communities, etc. - if you could toss this out to your lists and/or forward it along to anyone you think might be interested, we would certainly appreciate that also. It takes a tribe, so lets create one! Blessings, Marlo 510/ 658-7871 _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.cohousing.org/cohousing-L
