At Manzanita Village in Prescott, AZ we have found a number of techniques
that help us toward more successful communication. Among them are Marshall
Rosenberg's work: Nonviolent (or Compassionate) Communication.  Check on
line at: www.CNVC.org. This takes deep commitment and lots of practice,
but it is well worthwhile for a developing group. You may find that you
have a local NVC in your area.

  Our project is moving forward from the planning, design and development
  stage to construction-  Our Consensus process for decision making has been
  adequate through these stages and we are now seeking to develop greater
  expertise in this area.  We realize the more members we have educated in
  communication and consensus skills the better our meetings will flow. We
  have a geographically far flung group- from N. Amer., Switzerland, Vietnam-
  so while putting on workshops and training's for the "locals" has been
  useful, we are seeking ways to broaden the knowledge and skills base,
  through the use of books, videos, audio tapes, workshops  (like the one in
  Oakland), other ideas ????

  REQUEST-  If you have found a particular resource valuable in developing
  Communication, Consensus, Group Facilitation, Community Building.....or if
  you know of an upcoming workshop, training or course anywhere on the planet-
