The web site for Manzanita Village is certainly beautiful. I was unable to
find the information on its non-profit status.

What about natural building material, extremely small foot print Intentional
Communities?

The prices I am hearing are still well into the $100k to $300k per unit.

I am looking seriously at an all cob community, as well as using logs from
the ranch. This would substantially reduce the entry cost.

In addition to this, I continue to believe that there is a way to have
private space that is not owned or leveraged for profit.
