Dear Elizabeth, My husband and I are low income (senior/disabled) and very interested in co housing. We agree that financing alternatives need to exist for all families. Believe me, we hope one will work for our family! And we are very interested in self sustaining environments. I have found some and am enclosing the URL's for all persons interested in this subject. Very best, Kari Ann and Silas Warner http://www.barberyard.org/development_concepts.htm http://www.mercyhousing.org/about/default.asp?action=where&location=california http://www.hcd.ca.gov/clearinghouse/ http://www.abag.ca.gov/planning/housingneeds/primary_cntct_table.htm http://www.lihf.org/site/programs/housing.htm Elizabeth Cobb wrote: > Michelle, > > That said, I want to believe that alternatives exist...
