There was a wonderful picture book from the 70s called "Woodstock
Homemade Houses" that showed many of these from all over the country.
I do recall one home in there which was built around a tree, plus many
other creative dwellings. I'm sorry I lost that book somewhere in the
madness of corporate life before leaving it behind as the result of
being put on permanent disability leave and pension (best thing that
ever ahappened to me <smile>.)
