Well. I'd say it depends on your pitch and on your market. We advertise as "Eastern Village Cohousing" in the Washington Post under "Condos for Sale" and it continues to be the 3rd largest draw behind Friends and Web/Internet. The folks who follow through to the orientation session are people very much interested in community. Of course we get folks just interested in buying a condo and I quickly weed them out. I wouldn't ignore the newspaper but I would put "cohousing" upfront and personal and I'd be prepared to talk to all manner of folks. Ann Z.
