Brindledorf cohousing near Washington, D.C. has a unit available for rent 
starting April 1.  Brindledorf is a circa 1860 house on 6 wooded acres 4 miles 
from the Metro.  We have 5 people in the main house and 2 in each of 2 guest 
houses.  The house is set up like a bed and breakfast, with a large common 
country kitchen heated by a woodstove (it isn't the only method of heat, just 
the best one).  There is a large formal dining room well used for many dinner 
parties, and a big living room/media room with a 32" tv, dvd, fireplace, and 
gas stove.  There's a hottub off the sunroom, and wireless internet.

The unit available is the second floor, and has a large living room opening to 
a deck.  There is a private bath, and a cozy bedroom under the eaves.

Rent includes utilities, premium cable, house phone including long distance 
(you can have your own phone, if you wish), and wireless internet access.  We 
are a friendly group that has lots of dinner parties and group trips, mornings 
on the patio, evenings around the grill...it's really a great, fun place to 
live.  

The unit is $1100 per month with a year's lease, but short term leases can also 
be arranged.
