Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry about kitchen flooring.  We are
definitely considering staining/sealing the concrete floor, and adding soft
mats (and I like the soft shoe idea).  The company that sells the stain
offers a sealer that they recommend by sprayed professionally.  We're
wondering why not just roll on a few coats of regular polyurethane.  Any
experiences with sealing concrete...?
