We are a small group in Moscow, Idaho (on the border with Washington state) wanting to start a conversation about co-housing in Moscow. Moscow is a small, liberal college town with a fantastic food co-op, a great farmer's market, lots of outdoor music, etc. The town is growing and the topic of "smart growth" and is on everyone's mind. We are looking for someone knowledgeable who could speak to the community about co-housing and answer questions. We are envisioning an evening program. We'd like someone relatively local (or regional) and someone free, but we could work around it if we find someone good who doesn't exactly fit those criteria. If there is enough interest after the first program, we would consider paying a consultant for a weekend program to get a co-housing community started. We are 80 miles south of Spokane, WA and Coeur d'Alene, ID and about 300 miles east of Seattle and Portland. We would be willing to pay transportation costs (as long as they are reasonable) and provide housing on this end. Please let me know of any suggestions for speakers. Please reply directly to my e-mail: _jyotsna64@aol.com_ (mailto:jyotsna64 [at] aol.com) . Thanks! Jyotsna "Jo" Sreenivasan 1904 Lexington Ave. Moscow, ID 83843 208-892-0730
