I agree with Eileen.A guest suite with two or three guest rooms can share a bath, especially if the sink(s) are in the hall and not in the shower/ toilet room.
Ideally, however, each guest room should have it's own bath, like I remember at Common on the Alameda, in Santa Fe. Of the many many guest rooms that I have experienced in cohousing across the country, my favorite remains Commons on the Alameda, partly for the private bath, but also for the size, the individual fireplace, and the architecture.
I would be interested to know how folks are finding their guest rooms working out for them, after these many years now of experience...
Are they well used? Is the management, cleaning and scheduling system working? Do you wish you had more or fewer guest rooms than you have? Is there anything else you would change about your guest room situation? Chris ScottHanson(Often benefitting from the wonderful hospitality of the JP Cohousing group, in Boston.)

I use the common house for guests, but also have guests on my living room couch, mostly for those who do not want to stay in the CH because the bath is shared. I would have preferred a separate bath in the CH for the guest rooms.
