Mid Atlantic Cohousing (MAC) is proudly sponsoring a book tour for Charles
Durrett, a.k.a. Chuck, co-founder of the cohousing movement in the US and
Canada, to launch a new campaign on "senior cohousing" in the Washington, DC
area Dec. 8-10, 2005.
 
If you don't know this already, his new book "Senior Cohousing: A Community
Approach To Independent Living" describes an innovative and refreshing
housing model for seniors.

Durrett, recipient of the 2001 United Nations Habitat Award, co-founded the
North American Cohousing Movement, has designed more than 40 cohousing
communities, and received major awards from the American Institute of
Architects, National Association of Home Builders, the Architectural
Heritage Association, and the Institute of Social Innovation. His first
book, co-authored with his wife, Kathryn McCamant , launched cohousing in
the US and Canada.
