I'm repeating an earlier message since it seems to have been overlooked.

Consider pervious concrete paving. It is just like concrete paving, only no
sand is added to the mix of cement and aggregate. Makes excellent parking
areas and footpaths. The voids where the sand would have gone, make the
material pervious. Water pours right through it. Oils get trapped in it,
rather than continuing into the ground.

Has all the benefits of a concrete path: continuous, even surface for full
accessibility and no weeds or loose materials (except for some minor initial
raveling).

But it is completely pervious, too!
