Blue Ridge Cohousing of Charlottesville, Virginia is currently looking
for land and talking to developers. One of those developers has an
appealing tract of land which he wants to turn into a New Urbanist
neighborhood of several hundred townhomes and condos. He comes strongly
referenced as a large-scale developer who should understand cohousing.
In fact, after talking with him, he seems interested in working with us,
but he wants to know if cohousing neighborhoods have been built
successfully as part of much larger housing developments. If so, he
would like to speak with another developer or two who has integrated
cohousing into a bigger project. Can anyone recommend a big-time
developer proud of his/her experience integrating cohousing that
wouldn't mind being contacted?
thanks, Peter Lazar www.blueridgecohousing.org
