    One of the interesting aspects of forming a
community that is also building housing (at least in
the US) is that the more restrictive you make the
community norms--ie christian practice or any other
specific belief system--the smaller the pool of people
you have who will join and therefore the less
likleyhood of that community attracting enough people,
energy, and capital resources to suceed in being
built.  Hence the current trend toward more diverse
communities and the scarcity of the once more popular
religous based groups.  This may be less of an issue
in very homogenous populations where there is not such
a wide variety of belief systems around but in this
land of multiple layers of immigrants from everywhere
it definately makes a difference.
