I believe one of our recent buyers found an ad the sellers had placed in a
regional Sierra Club newsletter. Skimming this thread, I don't yet see
issue- and interest-oriented newsletter ads as an idea, but it bore fruit
here.

I found out about our unit, when it was for sale last year, through a post
to my (Unitarian Universalist) church's email list, where people often post
housing opportunities or needs. If you have members or friends who belong to
organizations with email lists, ask them if they could appropriately post a
short notice, perhaps referring people to your website or asking them to
contact a reliable community contact person (providing this personal
connection helps if they have questions up front). The person posting the
church email in our case was a resident of another, nearby cohousing
community, so cast that net too. Network, network, network.
