Cohousing is not about buildings, Its about people and the relationships
they chose to build and hold. Without the relationship and the commitment to
creating it, there is no cohousing.  Relationship building comes from
spending tme together on purpose and with a purpose, learning about each
other and yourself. In the process of give and take you form bonds.  I do
not believe, that you can simply take an existing building, throw together
30 families and expect much community to develop unless the large majority
of those families all share the desire for community relationship and a
commitment to working together to make it happen.
