Hello,I'm seeking the names, phone numbers, and/or email addresses of people who are in their late 60's and older who live in multi- generational community--people who might want to be interviewed about their experiences living in community. I'm interested in elder members of cohousing neighborhoods, rural and urban communities, Camphill communities, shared group housing, Camphill communities, service communities--you name it.
This is for our fall '06 issue of Communities magazine. I'm seeking these names and contact information in the next two weeks or so, by May 15th if possible.
We'd like to ask elder folks what they do and don't like about living in community, and what suggestions they amy have about how their community's physical design, or social situation, or anything else, might serve their needs better.
(We'll also have an article about specifically elder communities in the fall issue.)
So far here's some folks I know about already: Caroline Estes, Jim Estes, Alpha Farm.Arthur Okner, Nomad cohousing. (Does anyone have a contact number for him?)
Kat Kinkade, Piper, Marrione, Twin Oaks (or formerly at TO).Fran Allison, 89, Rosetta Neff, 90 (my mom), and Lee Finks, 71, at Earthaven. (I'm leaving out all the "young" 60-somethings.)
Some people at EcoVillage at Ithaca whom I've seen from a distance, but don't know the names of.
Some people at Camphill Soltane in Geoph's video, whom I don't know the names of.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! Diana (who's excited about the fall issue)
