Thanks to all who have replied to my query. I felt especially heartened to
hear about how CoHo Cohousing in Corvallis, Oregon continues to benefit so
richly from NVC. I hope we can do as well at Takoma Village.

Meanwhile, for the many of you who have expressed interest in NVC, I suggest
that you go to the Nonviolent Communication website. It is a very rich
source of information on NVC, including writings and articles, many
resources for learning, and a specific program for learning on your own
without a trainer. The website is: http://cnvc.org

Robin from Madison WI told of being unable to find even one NVC trainer in
the area. There may not be a certified trainer in your immediate area, but
if you go to:
  http://cnvc.org/fpnamerica.htm
you may find a number of local supporters, as indeed there are in Wisconsin.
Some of the people listed as local supporters may lead practice groups. Some
may be in training and may be close to receiving certification. All of them
will be very willing to help you find a qualified trainer - whether in-state
or close by.

For a list of local supporters, certified trainers, and local
groups/websites for your state, go to http://cnvc.org/fpnamerica.htm

Someone asked to keep him informed about our progress at TVC, which I
promise to do. To be continued...

Grace
