Some of us here at Takoma Village Cohousing in Washington DC are looking into having a training program to learn Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in our community. I personally have been involved in NVC workshops, practice groups, and classes in for over two years, and have found it to be very, very useful. If you have any experience with TVC in your community, I'd like to know: -in what ways, if any, has learning how to use NVC changed personal interactions in your community and interactions during meetings, -what training format was used -costs involved, -and any other information that would be helpful to us in setting up our training program and in practicing NVC. We are in touch with NVC teachers in the Washington area but would find it useful first to learn about your experiences with NVC in your community.
