Might I put forth another suggestion? Side burners. This will depend on your climate, but here in SW Ontario, we can get right sticky high-humidex summers. The last thing I want to do on such a day is fire up an element on my range to boil water for pasta or anything like that. The BBQ will work as an oven (I've even done pizza on it before), but the one thing I can't do is boil water to cook a mess of corn on the cob. A side burner on my BBQ would let me do that.
