The following appeared on Boston.com (The Boston Globe affilliated- website) today: Headline: Unusual cohousing development offers opportunity for neighborly connections

"Loners need not apply. Not that they would want to. After all, one of the key tenets of "cohousing" developments like this one in North Cambridge is interaction with neighbors.

"On a really nice snowy day, you can just pick up the phone and say, 'Come on over for dinner,' " said Rosemary Kennedy , who is selling her unit at Cornerstone Village Cohousing.

Kennedy was one of the original occupants of Cornerstone, which opened its doors five years ago with a vision statement that reads, in part, "We believe that people who have connections to others in a community context live richer and happier lives."

Not a long article, but nice to see it as the focus in the Real Estate section. It's unclear if this is editorial or advertising- department originated; author is Vanessa Parks.

Oh yeah, in case you're in the area:
"Listing broker Margot Hull of Fairfield Properties plans an open house for 1 to 3 p.m. today."

Wearing my "ask me about cohousing" button onboard the train to Chicago helped attract a potential Senior Cohousing site/developer in downtown Reno!
