Hi Natalie: Champlain Valley Cohousing in Charlotte VT (near Burlington) is right near a very well regarded Waldorf elementary and high school. One family in our community moved here specifically because they wanted proximity to it, (and also were looking for cohousing), and right this minute there is a whole family visiting us from California interested in cohousing and are in Waldorf back home. We are a 26 household community on 125 beautiful rural acres, with an active CSA (one of our partners farms on the land). Charlotte is zoned to preserve rural character, but we are only a 20 minute drive into Burlington, with all its cultural activities. We moved in 2006 and 14 households are in residence, and another one about to start the building process. We have 3 townhouses available, and several lots for building on. Our website is www.champlainvalleycohousing.org. Please give us a call! (802) 425-5030. Lucy Beck Champlain Valley Cohousing Charlotte, Vermont
