Hello, all! I received thoughtful and informative responses to my previous message about women cooperating in a small co-housing group (3-4 retiring women), and want to say thank you to those who responded, and to the list organizer who made it possible, as well as to the many posters from whom I have learned much. Almost as soon as I posted, I received an inquiry from someone seeking to sell their co-housing spot to someone. This seems to be a very important issue that we must address as we put together our plan - can anyone comment on their experiences in selling or buying into an existing co-housing situation? Are there any contract considerations, such as requirements of length of residency in terms of vesting in the "HOA fund"? Is there an internet market for such transactions? I've so far been unable to find any venues aside from the websites of individual organizations. -- Erika A.
