Dear CoCohousers,We originated as a Cohousing community of 12, now--and this may be our final number--16 households.
We have village water & sewer. We're not sure a professional Reserve Study would do it better than we would do it ourselves.
Are we missing something? Hi Folks, Here at Bellingham Cohousing we are once again debating the merits of having our reserves assessed professionally, seven years after move-in. Firmly-held opinions range widely?from "absolutely and utterly useless" to "fully justified on practical, moral and probably spiritual grounds." My question to the list: has anyone specific experience to relate in which a cohousing (or similar) community hired any sort of reserve specialist currently working in the Pacific Northwest? We are hoping for a couple of names of companies or individuals, with recommendations for, against or ambivalent based on direct experience. Suggestions gratefully received either on-list or off. Thanks. Mark Harfenist Bellingham Cohousing Bellingham, WA email: markharf at yahoo
