This is for those of you with a common house located so that people in their
homes can hear music and party noises during events. We have a broad
spectrum of desires, ranging from "parties are joyful, wonderful, and should
be encouraged whenever and we should just be tolerant" to "I need to go to
sleep at 9 some nights and shouldn't be able to hear any sound after that."
We've got a guideline in place that after 10 pm sponsors need to assure that
there is no outdoor noise, or sound spilling out open windows, or amplified
booming bass indoors (some of our houses are very close to the CH). And that
at any time, complaints from neighbors should be dealt with promptly and
courteously.
If you have a hear-able common house, do you have rules or guidelines?
