Assumming you don't mind lossing some head room, you can add on sound
buffering material to the ceilings.  Look for info on creating music rooms
for different ideas.  The main issue here will be asthetics.  The easiest
solution is probably stapling eggshell foam on the ceiling, but it wouldn't
look very pretty.  Maybe a lowered false ceiling of split bamboo, stretched
fabric, etc...
