Cohousing-L Mailing List: Handicap access

FYI:
Jackson Place Cohousing in Seattle has a 5 story common house (yes, we're on
a hill) with a 4 -story elevator. Yes, it was expensive, yes we had problems
with it, yes it's costly to maintain (regular inspections and emergency
communication contract). But many of our us wouldn't be able to use the
common house without it. Do it now - you won't be able to afford it later.
