Dear Co-Listers,We, at Cantines Island CoHo, want to let you know that we have one, as far as we know, last and final, lot available [we don't plan to expand on our land.]
Called 'the Corner Lot,' it is on the periphery of Cantines Island, maybe 70 feet [100 feet?? am not good at this kind of guesstimate] from our next closest house, and also one side [the back?] borders East Bridge Street. It is next to parking, but it is also adjacent to a former canal, which is an overgrown, quiet area. While Saugerties is a small village, it may seem too on-the-street for someone thinking rural. It would seem , of course, totally different if you are used to, or comfortable with an urban setting. We are asking $51k for the lot; if you are interested, could get back to you with ballpark membership fees, etc. We do want to sell this lot, and recently decided to list it on the open market. While money is tight, so is land. We have no idea of whether it will sell or not.
Meanwhile, it is gorgeous here as we approach Peak Leaf Peeker time. wishing you Moments of Peace, Ruth J> Hirsch
