I can now breathe ... AP just declared that NC is in the Obama camp: http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gm2yiI1ldmLIuwjggDkdguj9Hp_gD949J4T08 Election night was also on our Tuesday night community dinner. So after dinner, we moved the TV from the kids room to the large dining area and set up two zones: the quiet zone in our West Wing which has the plasma TV screen and the rowdy zone in our dining area. (The Common House has both cable TV and internet.) We had placards for the kids and posters to decorate the Common House. We also gave each kid a map of the United States and crayons to color the states red or blue. People brought snacks and beverages to share and stories to tell on what they did to help with the campaign. What makes it a cohousing moment was that all this done spontaneously with folks contributing what they could. -Robert Heinich Eno Commons Cohousing Durham, NC http://www.enocommons.org where * NC just declared blue for Obama * Durham County had a 76.07% voter turnout with 75.8% of those voters going for Obama * (I assume) 100% of Eno Commons voters went for Obama
