Dear Joani, This is for JP Cohousing of Boston, MA. *Of the employed (or self-employed) adults who live in your household, how many commute to work (most or every workday) in each of the following ways: 0 Walk 2 Ride a bicycle 0 Ride a scooter or motorcycle 14.5 Use public transportation 3 Drive a hybrid car 0 Drive an all-electric car 0 Drive an alternative fuel vehicle (eg.. natural gas, bio-diesel) 19 Drive a "regular" gas car or 0.5 Work at home (see public transportation for the other half) Please reply to me. I will collect the responses, add 'em up and send the total for our community to Joani Blank of Swan's Market Cohousing in Oakland who wants to collect this info for an article she hopes to submit for publication the Cohousing e-magazine. f you happen to know the answer to this question for every adult who lives in your community, you can simply do a tally---doesn't have to be 100% accurate---and not bother to forward the text between the lines above to all your neighbors. Note: This is not an official survey from the Cohousing Association, Just something that interests me (and I hope some of you as well). Even if I don't do an article for the e-magazine of Coho/US, I'll send a summary to all who respond.
