The appended note if from my neighbor. She is hoping for the collective wisdom of Cohousing-L help her explain a cohousing attribute to folks on her project. -Robert Heinich Eno Commons Cohousing Durham, NC http://www.enocommons.org where tonight we are hosting a 50th birthday party for our artist-no-in-residence ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: chantelle_w [at] juno.com <chantelle_w [at] juno.com> Date: Fri, Dec 19, 2008 at 6:45 PM Subject: Re: For cohousing L To: robert [at] enocommons.org I am trying to explain "built environment" to lay persons. That is, built environment influences behavior. For example, situating homes close together can foster social interaction between neighbors. Yet, I'm trying to think of a less dry way to help people appreciate built environment. Does anyone recall or know of a phrase or metaphor or some other way to help people "get it"?
