Today someone I was talking with was pleasantly surprised to discover that we had some low-cost options. They decided to skip the main conference and sign up for just the 2-day Senior Cohousing workshop on Wed, June 24 and Thu, June 25. This pre-conference workshop is by Chuck Durrett, the author of the book "Senior Cohousing." It costs about half as much as the main conference. Other low cost pre-conference options - available to everyone - have now been viewed by many thousands of people: http://www.cohousing.org/2009/prices Very few people have viewed the SCHOLARSHIP web page: http://www.cohousing.org/2009/scholarship Today, I learned how few people had applied - when compared to the available budget - so, we decided to extend the application deadline to April 15... If the registration cost is holding you back, please consider applying for a scholarship. I hope to see many of you in Seattle!
