Earmarked donations (was: "Cohousing friendly" condominiums lenders?)

Raines, this phrase sure jumped out at me:

"join me in making an earmarked donation to Coho/US"

In the past, the Coho/US appeals have basically boiled down to "please
the movement, through us" - fortunately, enough individuals and
communities have stepped up and responded to this rather broad
message. At its last meeting, the Coho/US board approved a targeted
fund-raising project to create a specific, new type of resource.

I'm not about to dilute the impact of the presentation currently being
worked upon for the Conference, but the first invitation to support
this project will be our Fund-raising dinner/auction on June 27 in
Seattle.

All are invited to attend this grand, fund-raising event. Tickets for
just the banquet are available separately from the conference. There's
more info here:

http://www.cohousing.org/2009/saturday

A number of people will be attending just the banquet to join in the fun.

Given how much Cohousing success (13 built communities, with several
more in process) and Cohousing Support Coho/US has received from Puget
Sound communities... it will be a really fun event (and some of the
items in the Auction are just amazing).
